Wiwa Hill - St. James Anglican

Abandoned church on a hill in Saskatchewan

St. James Anglican church at Wiwa Hill in Saskatchewan sits alone atop a small hill in rural Saskatchewan. With nothing else around, this church, along with its small outbuilding and a small cemetery, stands out from a distance. We weren't able to find any history on the church other than what the sign says which indicates it was built in 1913. It has been abandoned for decades but remains as a time capsule with original items inside.

Note: When we visited, a family of raccoons lived in the church, but they were all deceased. Photos below depict deceased raccoons.

We do a full video walkthrough of this abandoned church - check it out!
