The Ukrainian Greek Orthodox Church of St. Michael’s Parish in Rama, Saskatchewan, built in 1936, is a Municipal Heritage Property and has been a central place of worship for the local community ever since. Formed in 1927, the parish initially held services in private homes before constructing the current one-storey, wood-frame church, which features a large central octagonal dome and cupola-topped towers in the Byzantine Revival style. Designed in a cruciform layout, the church’s interior includes a sanctuary and nave adorned with wood mouldings and religious icons, reflecting traditional Orthodox architecture and serving as a spiritual and cultural landmark for the region.
