Many towns in Saskatchewan were built because the rail line came through. This ghost town was one such case. We don't have much history of the town but we do know that a few houses remain and there is a sign for the Mount Marie Schooolhouse so it was a community. Today it sits abandoned and is known as Lyons Junction or Tichfield Junction.
