This abandoned theater sits on the former Glasgow Air Force Base in St. Marie, Montana, once a fully self-sufficient military community. Like many Cold War-era bases, it had everything needed for daily life—schools, a grocery store, a church, a bowling alley, and this very movie theater. Stepping inside was like opening a time capsule: rows of assigned seats, vintage lighting, and many original fixtures remained intact. While the projectors had been removed—no surprise after decades of abandonment—much of the theater’s structure and charm had been remarkably preserved.
