While photographing a rural Ukrainian church we noticed a one room schoolhouse on the same property. A wood frame one room schoolhouse that was abandoned. The school was moved onto the property in the 1960s and converted into the parish hall. While the church holds historic status the school does not. It sits along with remnants of it's former life as hall which would have held events and Sunday school.
