Abandoned Railway Pumphouse

Abandoned pumphouse along an old rail line

We explore abandoned rail lines to find relics of the past. Built by the railway, these pumphouses were critical in the era of steam engines. Placed along the railway near small bodies of water these little brick buildings didn't look like much from a distance. Not many remain today as steam engines have gone by the wayside but this one still remains. Although fairly empty inside, it was never converted or used as a grain bin so it was a neat find.

We do a video walkthrough of this old pumphouse - watch here ↓↓↓↓
