We visited the Pine Lake schoolhouse in the middle of winter. Pine Lake School Division #2000 is a simple schoolhouse design with a small porch in the front, a chimney for the stove, and a flag pole on the front. After its life as a school, it was converted into a community center. We weren't able to find any historic information on this schoolhouse, but it appears it has been abandoned for years based on the interior condition.
