Mount Hope Schoolhouse

One room rural schoolhouse turned community center

Mount Hope Schoolhouse was built in 1908 and was used until 1968. It's a single-room schoolhouse with a basement in rural Saskatchewan. This particular schoolhouse was never converted into a grain bin or sold so it's still intact with the chalkboards, windows, and some historical photos. It was later used as a community center and appears as though the local community may still use the building or it's left as a time capsule of the past.
