Laura, Saskatchewan | Ghost Town

Exploring the ghost town of Laura, Saskatchewan.

Laura, Saskatchewan, is a hamlet located along Highway 7. It was built along the railway and was a bustling pioneer farming community. It was originally a village and later restructured as a hamlet. The town was named after a CPR surveyor's wife. It had a post office from 1909 until 1977. Today, only a couple of people live in Laura. Most buildings are gone, including the church you see in our photos.
