The Hearts of Oak Schoolhouse is a one room schoolhouse in southeast Saskatchewan. It opened in 1907 and closed in 1957. It was built on the highest piece of land in the area to prevent flooding. The building was crafted with stones from nearby fields making thick walls and the inside is lined with wood and a tin ceiling. It was heated with a wood stove. The building is standing strong but the roof is starting to decay and we have been told that they are fundraising to repair/replace the roof.
